Three brothers die after falling in frozen Texas pond

Three brothers, aged six, eight, and nine, died on Monday in Bonham, north Texas, after falling through ice on a private pond. The boys were playing near the pond when the youngest fell through the ice, and his older brothers attempted to rescue him. Their mother, Cheyenne Hangaman, tried to save them but was unable to due to the breaking ice and was eventually rescued by a neighbor. Emergency workers and a neighbor pulled the two older boys from the water and transported them to a local hospital, while the youngest was recovered after a search. The deceased were identified as Howard Doss, Kaleb Doss, and EJ Doss.
