Philosopher Falls is a location in Tasmania, Australia, near Cradle Mountain. It has recently become newsworthy due to the discovery of human remains in its vicinity. These remains have been provisionally identified as belonging to Celine Cremer, a Belgian backpacker who went missing in the Tasmanian wilderness in June 2023. A bushwalker discovered the remains, prompting forensic testing to confirm the identification. Prior to this discovery, a mobile phone belonging to Cremer was found in the area, even though the area had been extensively searched previously.
