Patients and dental community mourn Dr. Cerina Fairfax, killed by Virginia’s ex-lieutenant governor
Dr. Cerina Fairfax, a dentist in Fairfax, Virginia, was found dead in her Annandale home on Thursday, along with her estranged husband, former Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax. Police believe Justin Fairfax fatally shot Cerina before taking his own life. The couple was in the process of divorcing, and Justin Fairfax had been ordered to move out of the house. Cerina Fairfax, 49, was remembered by patients and colleagues as a devoted mother and caring dentist who ran a successful family practice. She is survived by her two teenage children.
