Vladimir Motin

Vladimir Motin, a 59-year-old Russian captain, is the subject of recent news due to his conviction and sentencing for manslaughter by gross negligence. He was the captain of the container ship Solong when it collided with the anchored oil tanker Stena Immaculate in the North Sea off the coast of Yorkshire in March of last year.
