Hong Kong holds first large-scale drill at revamped Huanggang border crossing

Hong Kong recently held its first large-scale drill at the revamped Huanggang border crossing. Approximately 1,000 civil servants from over 20 departments participated in the exercise on Thursday. Participants traveled to and from the Hong Kong port area of Huanggang Port using public transport, entering and exiting the port building. The drill's purpose was to evaluate the management of passenger and vehicular flows, passageway capacity, on-site guidance, traffic control, and supporting measures within the port building and its public transport interchange. Authorities reported smooth traffic flows during the drill.
