City University of Hong Kong has disciplined students over an orientation event with a disco theme in which a half-naked man was seen carrying a woman wearing only a bra and shorts, two days after the institution said it had “zero tolerance” for improper conduct.The institution said on Friday that all students involved in the orientation camp incident on August 27 had admitted their mistakes, formally apologised to the university and accepted disciplinary action.“The University’s Student Discipline Panel has completed its investigation into the incident and imposed disciplinary penalties on the organisers and the students involved. In accordance with established procedures, further details will not be disclosed to protect student privacy,” it said in a statement.
