Pupils return to West Bank school behind barbed wire to protect against settlers

Pupils have returned to a Palestinian school in al-Mughayyir, located in the West Bank, which is now protected by barbed wire. This measure is in response to a surge in Israeli settler-related violence. This year alone, six people, including three pupils from the school, have been killed in the village. The increased violence has necessitated the protective measures for the students and the school.
