Dutch rail network crippled by suspected sabotage

Rail travel across large parts of the Netherlands was severely disrupted on Tuesday due to suspected coordinated sabotage. Authorities discovered items, described as tubes attached to train tracks, at approximately 30 separate locations. This discovery rendered train transport virtually impossible in most central and eastern regions of the country. Rail operator ProRail confirmed that materials were found deliberately placed on the tracks at multiple sites. The exact motive behind these actions remains unclear, but the incidents are being investigated as sabotage.
