A Hong Kong IT analyst has been remanded in custody after being charged with killing his wife in a flat at a private residential estate two days ago.Wong Chi-kwong, 51, was brought to Eastern Court for the first time on Friday to face a count of murder.police arrested him on Wednesday after his wife, 53-year-old Wong Yuk-ting, was found dead in a flat in block 2 of Heng Fa Chuen estate in Chai Wan.The defendant appeared composed in the dock when the murder charge against him was read out.He told the court he understood that he was accused of killing his wife and that he now faced criminal proceedings.Prosecutors asked for a 12-week adjournment for further investigation. Their request was granted by Principal Magistrate David Cheung Chi-wai, who set the next hearing for December 11.police on Wednesday said the wife was confirmed dead at the scene.
