Almost half of Filipinos willing to trust cheating partners again, survey says

A recent survey in the Philippines revealed that while 27% of Filipinos have witnessed or experienced infidelity, a significant 43% are willing to trust a cheating partner again. The Social Weather Stations survey, conducted in November through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults nationwide, explored attitudes towards infidelity. Physical and emotional cheating were the most commonly reported forms, followed by cyber cheating and object cheating. Despite the prevalence of infidelity, a considerable portion of Filipinos expressed a capacity for forgiveness and a willingness to rebuild trust in their relationships after instances of cheating. The survey also found that 36% would not trust a cheating partner again, while 19% were undecided.
