Mentally ill woman spends 2 days in Hong Kong flat with dead mother on sofa

In Hong Kong, a woman with a chronic illness was discovered deceased in her public housing flat. Her adult daughter, who has a mental illness, was found uninjured and had been residing with her for at least two days. The discovery followed a report made on Monday afternoon by another daughter who could not reach her mother and sister. After visiting the flat and receiving no response, she contacted the police out of concern for her mother. The incident occurred at Fu Ying House, Fu Cheong Estate, Sham Shui Po.
