(Credit: AuBC/APTN) A 30-year-old woman was rushed to a hospital Saturday with serious injuries after being attacked by a shark at a Sydney beach, the latest in a string of recent shark attacks off Australia's coast. Officials said emergency crews responded to Coogee Beach on Saturday morning following reports that a swimmer had been bitten. The woman was airlifted to a hospital for treatment, police said in a statement. "The woman was pulled from ⁠the water by members of the public who commenced ​first aid," police said. The man was spearfishing near Michaelmas Island, a protected sand cay near Albany. On May 24, 39-year-old Michael Jensz was killed after suffering fatal injuries during a suspected bull shark attack while spearfishing along the Great Barrier Reef.
