Hop On misses court deadline for meeting owners from blaze-hit Tai Po estate

Hop On Management Company, the administrator for the blaze-hit Tai Po estate, has failed to meet the court-ordered deadline to hold a meeting with flat owners. The meeting was scheduled for Saturday, the same day Hop On issued a notice to residents of Wang Fuk Court informing them of the delay. The Lands Tribunal had previously dismissed Hop On's request for a postponement, stating it lacked the authority to grant one, and upheld the deadline in accordance with the Building Management Ordinance. Despite missing the deadline, Hop On has promised to address various challenges and arrange a new meeting soon.
