Chinese PhD graduate invites favourite eatery owners to graduation via delivery order

A Chinese PhD graduate invited his favourite eatery’s owners to his graduation ceremony via a delivery order, receiving enthusiastic response from his invitees.Recently, an eatery owner in southern China’s Guangdong province posted a delivery order she received.In the comment of the order, the customer, surnamed Xiong, invites her and her husband to take graduation photos with him.He wrote: “I have been fed by you for seven years from bachelor to doctor. Photo: HandoutThe eatery owner, Luo Na, said she was surprised and honoured to receive the invitation via the delivery order.She said she quit school as a teenager and had not imagined being invited to a graduation ceremony.Luo and her family had been running the Hakka cuisine diner for two decades close to the Southern Medical University. They are familiar with the inviter, who has been their regular customer.“I know medical students all work very hard. I also took graduation photos with my favourite eatery’s owner when I graduated.”
