Woman arrested after body of four-year-old boy found in Central Coast home

A 32-year-old woman has been charged with murder after the body of a four-year-old boy was discovered at a home in Wyong on the New South Wales Central Coast. Police were alerted when the woman presented herself at the local police station on Saturday. Officers subsequently found the child's body inside the residence late Saturday afternoon, noting significant arm injuries. The boy is yet to be formally identified, but the woman, who is believed to be known to him, was arrested and charged with murder (domestic violence) on Sunday. She was refused bail and is scheduled to appear in court. Police, assisted by the homicide squad, are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the boy's death.
