More safety signs added for new Hong Kong overpass after 5 crashes in 3 days

Hong Kong transport authorities have installed additional safety signs on Tsuen Wan Road following five traffic accidents that occurred within the first three days of a new overpass opening. The single-lane bridge, which began operating on Sunday, connects the Kowloon-bound fast lane of Tsuen Wan Road to Kwai Chung Road. Three of the accidents happened on Tuesday morning within a 15-minute period, involving a total of eight vehicles and resulting in one injury. The increased signage aims to inform motorists about the new traffic arrangements on the overpass.
