Donald Trump's social media company, Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), has proposed charging Wall Street traders and investment firms up to $100,000 per month for expedited access to posts from the U.S. president on its Truth Social platform. Sources familiar with the matter indicate that TMTG also presented a discounted three-year plan at $60,000 per month. This offering, referred to as "Truth API," aims to provide financial institutions with the quickest access to content from the ten most influential Truth Social accounts. The company unveiled this paid data feed on Thursday, though specific pricing was not initially disclosed. The rationale behind this service is that the president's posts can significantly impact markets, and even a slight speed advantage can yield substantial trading gains for investors.
