1 dead after small plane crashes into house in Germany

At least one person died when a light aircraft crashed into a single-family home in the northern German state of Lower Saxony on Saturday.A police spokesman reported that one body was recovered from inside the aircraft in Ganderkesee, near Bremen. It was initially unclear whether anyone else was on board the aircraft when it crashed.Search operations by the fire department were still under way at midday.
