Transport authorities order probe after crash paralyses traffic on airport link

Hong Kong transport authorities have launched an investigation into the operator of a road link serving the airport following a significant traffic disruption. On Wednesday evening, a collision involving two vehicles, including an overturned medium goods vehicle, occurred on the Cheung Tsing Highway in Tsing Yi. The accident caused traffic to be paralyzed for over three hours during the evening rush hour. Police were alerted at 7:36 pm, and the drivers of both vehicles were taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment. The authorities are requiring the road link operator to explain their management of the incident.
