Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979

The Telecommunications Act 1979 is an Act of the Parliament of Australia which prohibits the unauthorised interception of communications or access to stored communications, with certain exceptions. The legislation was amended by the Telecommunications Amendment Act 2015.
