Tiangong Class

The "Tiangong Class" refers to a live educational event featuring Hong Kong's first astronaut, Lai Ka-ying, delivering a lesson from space. Lai, along with her two fellow Shenzhou-23 crew members, will broadcast a 90-minute session to students and teachers in Hong Kong and Macau. This initiative is jointly organized by the Hong Kong and Macau governments. The event is particularly newsworthy as it marks a significant moment for Hong Kong's participation in space exploration and education. The live lesson aims to inspire students by sharing experiences directly from space, emphasizing perseverance and overcoming challenges. The broadcast will be streamed live across campuses and on television, making it widely accessible and highlighting the growing collaboration in space-related educational outreach.
