Ukrainian drone attack

Russia has reported a large-scale Ukrainian drone attack on its Moscow region, resulting in three fatalities. The casualties included a woman in Khimki, north of Moscow, and a man and a woman in the village of Pogorelki. Twelve people were injured in the strikes. Russian officials stated that the attack targeted the Moscow region. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the strikes as an "entirely justified" response to recent deadly Russian attacks on Kyiv, which had killed 24 people, including children, in a residential building. This event marks a significant escalation, with Ukraine directly targeting areas near the Russian capital following intense aerial assaults by Russia on Ukrainian cities.
