Adlershof Technology Park

Adlershof Technology Park, located in Berlin, is a hub for technology companies and research institutions. It gained recent media attention due to a suspected left-wing extremist arson attack that occurred on September 9, 2025. The attack involved setting fire to high-voltage power cables at the base of electricity pylons in Berlin-Johannisthal, Treptow-Köpenick. An online statement claimed responsibility, citing the technology park and its resident companies and research facilities as the target. In response to the attack, approximately six months later, police conducted raids on numerous locations in Berlin and three other German states, targeting suspected perpetrators. The raids, involving searches of apartments and other premises, highlight the ongoing investigation into the incident and the authorities' efforts to address politically motivated attacks against critical infrastructure and technology centers.
