Aravaca

Aravaca, a district in Madrid, Spain, is the location of Telefónica's new TSpace center, situated within the Centro Nacional de Supervisión y Operación (CNSO). This center is the base of operations for Telefónica's newly launched commercial drone service, the first of its kind in Spain to offer fully integrated and remotely piloted drone solutions. Telefónica is leveraging this facility to manage drone operations across the country, aiming to automate industrial and emergency response processes for businesses and public administrations. The drones are being used for tasks such as monitoring fire risks in remote areas, exemplified by a recent operation in Cuacos de Yuste, approximately 250 kilometers from Aravaca. The establishment of TSpace in Aravaca highlights the area's growing significance as a hub for technological innovation and advanced operational capabilities within Spain's telecommunications sector.
