Babri Mosque

The Babri Masjid was a mosque located in Ayodhya, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Many Hindus believe that the location where it stood is the site of Ram Janmabhoomi, the mythical birthplace of Rama, a principal deity of Hinduism.
