Bedar

Bedar is a hamlet located in the province of Almería, within the autonomous community of Andalusia, southern Spain. It has recently gained notoriety due to a devastating wildfire that occurred in the area. The blaze, which broke out amid soaring temperatures and a severe heatwave affecting southern Europe, tragically claimed the lives of 12 people. The fire reportedly started due to a downed power line and spread rapidly to a nearby wooded area, engulfing vehicles and leading to the fatalities. Approximately 150 firefighters were engaged in battling the flames.
