She had been undergoing treatment at the Ojai Raptor Center after being found weak and unable to fly following an altercation with younger eagles. This news followed reports that another female bald eagle, believed to be missing, was found alive but injured after a fight with other birds. The advocacy group Friends of Bear Valley confirmed the injured eagle was spotted on the ground and involved in a brief ground altercation.
