Birmania

Myanmar, also known as Burma, is a Southeast Asian nation currently governed by a military junta. The junta seized power in a coup d'état in 2021, ending a period of fragile democratic transition. The leader of the junta, Min Aung Hlaing, who orchestrated the coup, has recently further consolidated his power by assuming the role of president. This move comes five years after the coup and despite an arrest warrant issued against him by the International Criminal Court. The country remains under the junta's control, facing international condemnation for its human rights record and suppression of dissent.
