Campo de Gibraltar

Campo de Gibraltar is a region in southern Spain bordering Gibraltar. It's newsworthy due to two recent developments. Firstly, an agreement regarding Gibraltar's relationship with the EU will be provisionally applied starting July 15th. This agreement, backed by the EU-27, aims to establish a framework for Gibraltar's relations with the EU post-Brexit. Secondly, the Guardia Civil has dismantled a drug trafficking clan, known as the 'Risitas' clan, operating between the Campo de Gibraltar and the Costa del Sol. This operation highlights the ongoing issue of drug trafficking in the region.
