Chile is a South American country currently governed by a new right-wing administration led by President José Antonio Kast. The government is making headlines due to its increasingly stringent stance on immigration. More recently, his administration announced the suspension of a migrant regularization plan. These actions signal a shift towards more restrictive immigration policies.
