Ende

Ende is a city located in the East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia, situated in the Flores region. It serves as a significant geographical reference point within this area. Ende recently gained attention due to a powerful magnitude 7.7 earthquake that struck off its coast on a Saturday morning. The epicenter of this seismic event was located 68 kilometers (42 miles) north-northwest of the city. While the earthquake was significant and prompted a tsunami warning, initial reports indicated no immediate casualties or damage in the region, including Ende. The quake hit at a depth of 10 kilometers and was followed by two aftershocks.
