Gandía is a city located in the province of Valencia, Spain. Recent news highlights its connection to two prominent figures: Pablo Sánchez, a singer and songwriter from the band La Raíz, and Enrique Llopis, a track and field athlete. Pablo Sánchez recently announced that his myeloma (blood cancer) is in remission, expressing gratitude to public healthcare. He had to step away from performing, including La Raíz's reunion tour in Gandía, due to his diagnosis in early 2025.
