Gauteng

Gauteng is a province in South Africa, notable for its economic significance and proximity to Johannesburg. It is currently newsworthy due to a surge in crime, including gang violence and illegal mining activities. President Ramaphosa has announced the deployment of the military to Gauteng (and Western Cape) to assist the police in combating these issues.
