Geva Binyamin (Adam) is an Israeli settlement located in the occupied West Bank, near Jerusalem. It is now newsworthy due to a recently proposed Israeli government plan to build thousands of new settlement homes in the area. Critics, including NGOs and Palestinian officials, argue that this plan effectively expands Jerusalem's borders into the West Bank, constituting a de facto annexation of Palestinian land. This proposed expansion is significant because it would be the first time since 1967 that Jerusalem's borders have been expanded into the occupied West Bank.
