Haugesund

Haugesund ( ) is a municipality on the coast of the North Sea in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Haugaland. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Haugesund. Other village areas in Haugesund Municipality include Skokland, Vikse, Skastad, and Røvær. The majority of the municipality outside the town is rural or undeveloped.
