Hessen is currently experiencing political upheaval within its Ministry of Economic Affairs, marked by the dismissal of State Secretary Umut Sönmez due to sexual harassment allegations. This has placed significant pressure on Minister Kaweh Mansoori to demonstrate leadership. Concurrently, the transport sector, including freight forwarders and farmers, is advocating for further relief from high fuel costs, viewing the planned reduction in mineral oil tax as insufficient.
