Simultaneously, Chinese geologists have identified an active fault line directly beneath the world's largest hydropower project, currently under construction on the Yarlung Tsangpo (Brahmaputra) River in Tibet. This geological instability poses a substantial threat to the integrity of the mega-dam's infrastructure.
