Iran, officially the Islamic Republic of Iran, is currently engaged in a war with the United States and Israel, as of March 2026. This conflict is a major reason for recent economic measures implemented in other countries, such as Spain, to mitigate the impact of rising fuel costs due to the war. These measures include tax breaks on gasoline and diesel. The war has also prompted discussions about corporate transportation models. Despite being a predominantly Muslim nation, Iran has not received widespread support from the Islamic world in its conflict with the US and Israel.
