The South Sinai governorate, a region on the eastern coast of the Sinai Peninsula known for its tourist resorts along the Red Sea, was the site of a tragic bus crash. The incident occurred on the road connecting the popular tourist towns of Dahab and Nuweiba. At least 16 people lost their lives, and 28 others sustained injuries. Emergency services, including approximately 20 ambulances, were dispatched to the scene to provide immediate medical assistance and transport the injured.
