Kafr Aqab

Kafr Aqab is a Palestinian town located in occupied East Jerusalem. It has recently become a focal point of news due to Israeli military actions. Specifically, Israeli forces raided and seized the Qalandiya Training Centre, a significant facility operated by the United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA). This raid occurred in the town of Kafr Aqab. The area is also adjacent to the Qalandiya refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, which experienced a large-scale Israeli raid resulting in injuries to at least 51 Palestinians. During this raid, Israeli forces also reportedly demolished commercial shops near the Qalandiya checkpoint and imposed a curfew.
