Kashima

Kashima is a location situated in Japan's south-western Kyushu region. This area recently experienced a powerful 7.1 magnitude earthquake, which triggered over 100 aftershocks. The seismic event resulted in at least 13 fatalities and left many others in critical condition. Rescue efforts have been underway amidst challenging conditions, including searing heat, as crews search through rubble at damaged sites.
