King Min House

The incident occurred on Monday when a cleaning contractor, Fai Kee Environmental Cleaning, removed the fish from the pond to facilitate maintenance. However, the contractor allegedly failed to provide a temporary space with adequate aeration, leading to the death of the fish, including large koi. Hong Kong police have launched an investigation into suspected animal cruelty. A 51-year-old supervisor from the cleaning company was arrested and later released on bail, required to report back to police next month.
