KwaMakhutha

KwaMakhutha is a township located approximately 30 kilometers south of Durban, a major city on South Africa's east coast. The area has recently gained significant media attention following a tragic mass shooting incident. Late on a Tuesday night, three assailants entered a house in KwaMakhutha where a party was taking place. They opened fire on the attendees, resulting in the deaths of at least 11 people, including a woman believed to be pregnant. Three other individuals sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital, with one later succumbing to their wounds. Police reports indicate that some of the victims were involved in neighborhood watch activities.
