Via Laietana is a well-known street in Barcelona that underwent renovations completed in June of last year. These cameras are now set to begin automatically issuing fines to unauthorized vehicles starting April 27th. The implementation of these fines comes after a delay, as the city council initially planned to activate the cameras in September. Prior to the enforcement date, a five-week period was opened for residents and authorized individuals to register for permits allowing them to use the lane. The enforcement aims to regulate traffic flow and ensure compliance with the new traffic regulations implemented following the street's transformation, improving traffic management in the area.
