Mandara mountains

The Mandara Mountains, located in the southern part of Borno State, Nigeria, have been identified as a significant stronghold for the militant group Boko Haram. This region has recently gained notoriety due to a successful Nigerian army operation that liberated 360 individuals who had been abducted by the terrorist organization. Tragically, during their captivity in the harsh conditions of the Mandara Mountains, two infants died.
