Northern Bridge

The Northern Bridge is a significant transportation link in Kyiv, spanning the Dnipro River and facilitating daily commutes for thousands of residents between the city's two banks. It has recently become a focal point of Russian military actions. Over several consecutive days, the bridge has been targeted by Russian strikes, including drone attacks. These attacks occurred concurrently with high-profile diplomatic events, such as the visit of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz to Ukraine, intended to show support. The repeated targeting of this vital infrastructure highlights the ongoing conflict and its impact on civilian life and critical city functions in Kyiv.
