Sallent

Sallent is one of 31 municipalities in Catalonia, Spain, that are part of a new housing initiative by the Catalan government. The government plans to construct 566 homes across 42 small plots of land within these municipalities. The president of the Generalitat, Salvador Illa, and the Minister of Territory, Housing, and Ecological Transition, signed agreements with the mayors of these 31 locations, including Sallent, establishing the legal framework for the Generalitat to proceed with individual tenders. This initiative aims to address housing needs in smaller Catalan towns.
