Sohmor

Sohmor is a municipality located in southern or eastern Lebanon. Recent news reports indicate that this area has been subjected to Israeli air attacks. These strikes have resulted in casualties, with at least five to six people reported killed and over a dozen injured in separate incidents. The attacks occurred despite an agreement for a ceasefire extension with Hezbollah and just days before anticipated meetings between Israeli and Lebanese officials. The Israeli military has targeted residential areas, including a house in the Kfar Dounin municipality, which is approximately 100 km south of the Lebanese border. These developments highlight ongoing tensions and military actions in the region, impacting civilian populations and potentially jeopardizing diplomatic efforts.
