South-Ubangi

South-Ubangi is a northwestern province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), bordering both the Central African Republic and Congo-Brazzaville. It has recently gained attention as the seventh province to detect a case of the ongoing Ebola outbreak. This development signifies the expanding reach of the epidemic within the DRC, which has already surpassed 7,000 cases and resulted in nearly 3,400 deaths according to Congolese authorities.
