Talavera de la Reina

Talavera de la Reina is a town located in the province of Toledo, Spain. Recently, it has been in the news due to a salmonellosis outbreak at the Compañía de María school. A total of 47 students have been affected after consuming contaminated food. As of late March 2026, fourteen students were hospitalized, with one in intensive care.
